The size is nice, the cord is very long, which I really liked. It heats up very quickly... and once it starts to rise, it also spews water all over the place while it's hot. I filled the tank about halfway with water - well below the max line, but not empty at all. I just held it and never put it down. I ordered it for my daughter who is moving to a hostel this weekend. I can of course return it, it's just an inconvenience. I was hoping I could use it once we unpacked it in the dorm for curtains, sheets etc. If I had been told I would have spent a few dollars more and bought one that was guaranteed not to spit water. about the fabric I wanted to steam. :(
