I enrolled my daughter in a creative dance class and was told the kids could wear sweatpants and a t-shirt. my daughter is 3 years old. When we got there, all the little girls were wearing ballet rehearsal dresses. She didn't dance or talk to the whole class who looked like her because she loves to dance. As she left, she said she was sad that she didn't have a dance dress like other girls. I had no idea that they should or would rather wear such a dress because I wasn't told that. However, I made it home straight away and hit the Amazon. I found this dress with tons of great reviews and decided to give it a try. We received it so quickly and let me tell you the quality is beyond excellent. This is a really well made and beautiful dress. I am so satisfied and will buy more colors as well. My daughter is really looking forward to the dance class and I feel like a lucky mother knowing she is so happy and will attend from now on.
