About a month ago I bought this product because I got perioral dermatitis that wouldn't let go! I went to a dermatologist who prescribed antibiotics for ONE WHOLE MONTH! He even explained that if it didn't work the first month, we would take the antibiotic for another month. I'm a nurse so I understand antibiotics help but I'm aware of their overuse and it was too much for me. But I tried antibiotics and after about 4 days I was awake in the middle of the night with a terrible upset stomach. I work nights so I know what it's like to wake up in the middle of the night but it was awful! So after 2 weeks of patience I gave up antibiotics and tried this toothpaste after reading (in several studies) about the possible links to fluoride and perioral dermatitis. I've been using it for about a month and the dermatitis hasn't come back yet. In general I am very satisfied with the product. The aftertaste of this toothpaste lingers a bit, but not much more than any other toothpaste.
