My old Cuisinart (which still worked great) was 20 years old. So on my birthday I asked my husband for this new wonderful one. All in all it works pretty well. I also wanted to roll the dice, which works well but is quite tricky. I've recently found that it doesn't work when I want to use it to chop cabbage for kale (which wasn't difficult on my old one). does not work well. The shredded cabbage collects in the lid, the shreds that fall into the bowl are only on one side of the bowl, and the pushers pick up the cabbage pieces and stick, making further pushing or removal nearly impossible. In this case my 20 year old Cuisinart performed much better than a new one. You know, I'm not Andrew, I'm Andrew's wife.
