The final sponge was TERRIBLE quality! Falling apart after 3 washes!

I have been using sea sponges for a long time instead of polluting plastic washcloths and while I know they are natural and will not all be the same, the one I just got from this list was one of the worst quality! At $11.99 it was quite small (definitely less than 5 inches!) and fell apart completely after only 3 showers. It looks like a holey soft rag. They seem to last longer (and exfoliate skin better) than these. I would not recommend it.
