OVERVIEW: Overall I'm very happy with it. The price is great, the quality is good. Customer service was really great. The installation process is a little strange, but once you've done it, it's pretty easy. THE GOOD: I really hate how Epson and HP are beating their customers over toner prices. A complete set of normal cartridges costs more than the printer itself! So the prices are fantastic. Customer service was excellent. I had a bad cyan cartridge that didn't give full page coverage and their service department not only sent me a new cyan cartridge but also checked to make sure everything was ok. The print quality is actually very good. For best results, use high-quality laser paper. I use Hammermill Premium Color Copy and it looks fantastic. A note: after updating/installing these cartridges you may need to run the HP calibration procedure. DOWN: Yes, the chip transfer is a bit annoying. The easiest way is to remove the old chip; The hardest part is getting the chip into the spare slot properly without breaking the small plastic parts in the chip holder. Also, you no longer know how much toner is left in each cartridge because HP thinks they're all gone. But it doesn't bother me that much. OVERVIEW: HP cartridges are insanely expensive. These aftermarket cartridges are 1/4 the price of OEMs. If you can put a little time and effort into the installation process, these cartridges will save you a lot of money. Recommended!
