After careful research I can give you some information that you can't find anywhere without a lot of work. 1. A 100g fuel canister (4oz canister) fits in this 700ml bot. and 2. The threads on the lid are now smoothed from the factory and no longer stick, which was an issue when Googling older reviews. Also 3. Vargo has a video on their website, maybe higher. You soak your dehydrated meals in a bot for an hour during your trek, and then when you cook, your food uses a lot less fuel to heat. You can do the same thing with things like beans, which need to be soaked first. You can also get more water from the cooking stream than just water bottles because the lid is screw-on (filtered water, of course). When heating with the bot, turn the lid over. If storing leftovers in a bot, allow them to cool slightly before screwing the lid on tightly or the o-ring will expand and could get stuck. If your vacuum seal is stuck due to pressure drops from all day lifting and elevation changes, you can insert a thin object like a credit card into the rim and break the vacuum by pressing on the sealing ring. There is an explainer on Vargo's website and specifically on the blog.
