They arrived in satisfactory condition. Starting with 3 stars until I see how they do I will adjust accordingly. Update: I'm not even going to grow algae from 2 to 55, if I didn't follow the 2wpg rule now I got the impression that the light spectrum would compensate. That is not right. You can actually work in a very small grow tank. As for the ones I bought I would give them 3 stars for being simple sight lights for my 10 gallon snail tank and 3 stars for the heat lamps on my son's 10 gallon lizard tank. However, since they are released as "growth lights" they fail. Update: 2 per ten gallons seems to be enough to grow Indian Water Fern and Moss. +1 for that.
