adapter new in sealed bag. Works great, no problems. Using an older graphics card with a 59-pin monitor output. I needed this adapter to connect a VGA monitor. The 59-pin connector is designed to support two monitors that require a 59-pin connector on one end and a short Y-cable with two VGA connectors on the other end. However, this adapter is easier and cheaper if you only want to use one monitor. Computer: Lenovo M58 small form factor PC, Radeon HD3450 graphics card.
