Review on AMD FX 9590 Desktop Processor FD9590FHHKWOF by Joseph Katipally

I bought the FX-9590 as an upgrade to an FX-8150 that I have been using for several years. I bought this CPU along with the Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler to keep it cool and I'm happy with it so far. With a cooler, it seems to take care of the heat that this processor can generate and this is noticeable when playing graphics-intensive games. One thing I noticed right away was some freezes and freezes, but after disabling the 5.0GHz Turbo Boost in the BIOS I had absolutely no issues at a consistent 4.7GHz. I am currently using this setup on an ASUS Sabertooth R.2 motherboard as it supports a 220w CPU. I'm running 1333 Corsair memory, overclocked to the 1866 profile with no issues, and using an older 1200W Ultra Modular PSU. Paired with the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW graphics card I'm very happy with how everything is running smoothly. Happy camper is here!
