Throw your bungee straps in the trash and "ROK On!" [pun] Rok straps are the most secure and effective luggage/restraint straps I've ever seen. With a width of 2.5cm and tulip-style length adjustment, ROK harnesses keep attached items secure - meaning they're truly protected. ROK can't roll and twist off items, and with the stretch panel, which is made of high-density UV-protected stretch fabric, 1 inch wide, about 5/32 thick and 9 inches long, they're likely to stretch and become weak and limp, everything except liquidation. I have a couple of these a few years old and like new and have used ROK to attach oversized heavy duty backpacks to my bike with 100% security. I also personally like the loop style which eliminates the potential for hook damage, but as far as I know hook end styles also exist.
