I use them in my home office where extra clothes, shoes, handbags etc are kept. It doesn't show the usual wear and tear of a playroom but the handles are so durable. If it's for kids it might be better to go for the plastic handles - I don't have them to compare but knowing how small this handle is might be better. These tanks are SO GOOD. Who would have thought it would be so difficult to find a unique and beautiful basket that doesn't lose its shape with the items it contains and is inexpensive enough to be easily replaced should it break. I've been searching Amazon, Walmart, Kohl's, etc. for these containers for 8 months on and off. There are more durable ones, but I didn't need anything that heavy. I chose to only show the side of the handle, but the paper label slot is nicely done and doesn't look cheap at all. I started with one and wanted to leave the shelves open on the other two but decided to re-order the packaging and use it on top to store more stuff. You need those tanks! I'm attaching a photo: the office isn't ready yet (pictures aren't hung, there are pillows on the floor lol), but you can get an idea of the overall view.
