Of the three scanners I tried, this one did everything I needed. So far I've used it on a 2004 Toyota Corolla and a 2001 Nissan Frontier. He was able to read and erase the codes on both cars. I've previously tried the slightly more expensive Foxwell NT301, which worked well with the Nissan Frontier but not at all with the Corolla. And a very cheap Oxgord scanner that worked on the Corolla but not the Frontier. I'm wondering if he's more versatile because the first menu on this scanner asks what brand of car it's connected to? that it can interpret the data read in the context of a specific brand. Or maybe it just works well with the vehicles I've tried. Either way, it's a goalkeeper.
