I've had bad luck with headsets lately and decided to go with a mainstream brand. I've heard that Corsair has upgraded the quality of their peripherals and after doing some research I settled on this one. Right out of the box the cable is VERY short, if you don't connect it to the controller you'll definitely need an extension cable, which of course is bought separately, but let's not talk about that, let's talk about the sound quality. Probably the worst sounding headset I've ever experienced at this price point. The mic produced noise every time I spoke without picking up bass or treble. sits rather badly on the head.
