I give this yo-yo 5 stars overall as a very affordable, well-made and reliable yo-yo for beginners and intermediate users. I still consider myself a beginner, but I've been playing yo-yo on and off since the 90's. Now that I'm older and teaching my grandkids the basics, I'm back in the yoyo world and a little overwhelmed by how much yoyo has changed and how many varieties of yoyo are out there. So, having recently bought a couple of modern ball bearing yoyos to get ahead in learning new tricks, I have to say that this MagicYoYo K2 Plus is by far my favorite! Compared to the ones I've bought, The Fizz, The Spinstar, The One, The FAST 201, The Sage, and MagicYoYo T7 and K1, this one got me the furthest in learning advanced string tricks. I've been trying to master Man on The Trapeze and Brain Twister with these other yoyos for about a month without success, but after just a day of practice with the K2 Plus, I'm amazed at how much better I'm at these tricks. Firstly the spin time is fantastic, the weight feels so balanced and unlike beginner yoyos like the Fizz, Spinstar and FAST 201 it doesn't rebound as quickly with a small jerk giving you more control. . And to top it off, it's a beautiful yo-yo! I got a green color visible through the crystalline plastic that looks more like teal. I'm not ready to upgrade to an unresponsive yo-yo just yet, but this K2 Plus comes with a conversion kit (bearings and tools) to convert it to an unresponsive yo-yo so you have the best of both worlds. It's not the best yo-yo for looping, but this type of yo-yo isn't meant for that, it's for string tricks. If you are looking for a versatile entry level yoyo that is also good for learning loops then I would recommend The Spinstar, The Fizz, FAST 201 or if you are looking for a decent entry level yoyo with reaction time go for that Magic YoYo T7. . This K2 Plus yoyo is also very smooth-running, almost noiseless for a plastic yoyo and also very quiet. For $12.55 and a 10% clip coupon, you can't go wrong with MagicYoYo's K2 Plus Yoyo, whether you're a beginner or an advanced player!
