I was going to use them for hunting but they don't distribute enough heat to your fingers, almost at all. I went to the field with them ready and never felt good heat circulation in hot hands. I have used them as lining in thicker mittens but they are so thin. The hot hands did the job as intended, but I had to go back to using my old mechanical gloves as liners. Also, you can't touch the phone screen with them, it doesn't recognize them. Well, I'm just glad I didn't buy them from Dick a few years ago when I saw them for $60. I think I'll still use them but occasionally and not for hunting.
