Review on πŸ“¦ RVDM117KIT Heavy-Duty Container Kit with Compatible Containers and HPRV Hampers by Kevin Woods

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I added these and Blum rails to a plywood box I made for a trash/recycling box.

After replacing our kitchen sink with a new deeper work station with a trendy overhang, our existing Simple Human pull-out trash can no longer fits. It was never a good system anyway because the Simple Man was only an inch or two shorter than the bottom of the old sink and my husband tried to push the trash in without actually pulling the tank forward meaning something would get in . but something will remain. no Unfortunately, our cabinets are imported from Europe and are shorter than standard cabinets, so pre-engineered bin drawers will not fit. I designed a plywood crate with the exact dimensions of the closet next to our sink, which in practice works much better than under the sink as I can stand by the sink with the litter box fully open and throw in trash and recyclables being produced. . That way, I can rinse the cat food and throw it into one of the two disposal bags that sit front to back in the trash can (right next to Simple Human's original plastic trash can) without having to leave the sink to close the closet to open. Door below, as in the previous system. I love the comfort and smooth soft close of the Blum sliders, also available here at Revain. It is best to put two paper shopping bags next to the bin so that the recycling bags have to be carried half as often to the garbage/recycling/composting room in our building. The only thing I'd like to have room for is a compost bin, but it's under the sink now.
