Good price for this type of brush. My lady found it fit and was a good size, the paddle head is about the same length and width as her hand. The pins are fairly thin and the pad is fairly easy to press and sink into, but it still works well. I was a bit disappointed with the black finish. We wanted the wood to have a traditional look and feel and whilst the wood grain showing through is nice, the lighter tone of the wood underneath shows through the black in streaks, dots etc. It looks like it would chip or scratch easily. That's a good price for a functional hairbrush and the case was appreciated and looks nice on the dresser.
