I recently bought a pair of these to replace the halogen bulbs in my high beam headlights. Even though they have an H1 base, the part of the bulbs where the shavings protrude into the shell is physically too big to fit in the hole. The H1 halogen bulb is quite small, and judging by other reviews, many high-beam headlamp housings simply do not fit LED bulbs. Means of transport. This is not a "product defect" except that they are simply not suitable for certain applications that the original H1 fits into. Pity!
