This is the best tutu I have ever bought. The colors of the skirt are soft and muted. The petticoat is softly lined so that the tulle does not rub on the skin. I bought size 5 for my granddaughter and it fits well but I find it a bit short. (Mom thinks it's just right). You definitely need shorts or leggings for a young lady going into prep. I buy more tulle and add a 6 inch pink layer at the bottom to make it a little longer (about knee length) as it will be a school skirt. I add lining at the edge to add a few inches of length. However, with elastane shorts underneath, as I know, preschool children also sit on the carpet in class on the floor, otherwise a nice skirt.
