Review on 🦷 Nanoskin Purpose Detailing Toothbrush 85-653 by Sarah Schneider

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Too harsh on painted surfaces

So you're looking to Revain for a brush to remove the dried wax around your car's trim and emblems. "Nanoskin looks good," you think. I know I thought so until the brush arrived and I was terribly wrong. Slightly softer than a brass bristle brush (I'm not kidding), the Nanoskin is very stiff. I ended up going to one of those $1 All Stores and bought four packs of adult soft toothbrushes. It turned out that these cheap toothbrushes were significantly softer than the Nanoskin and much closer to what I would like to rub against my car's paintwork. The only good thing about Nanoskin is that its long and overly stiff bristles can pick up wax from deep areas that toothbrushes can't reach. However, this brush is better for removing stains from carpets and seats, or rubbing plaster into textured plastic trim, its hardness just right for that. But as for the brush, just buy some stuffed animals from the dollar store, you'll save yourself time, money and a whole lot of trouble.

Pros
  • Manual Toothbrushes
Cons
  • Not the best
