I like the concept of syringe toys that can be opened for easy cleaning but require work. I gave them a pretty good rating because they do what they're supposed to and they're cute, but the clasp doesn't quite work and the spray hole doesn't seem optimal. No matter how well they close, ours still let plenty of water through the closure seams, and then that leaves about half the water that doesn't splash, unless you tilt it down because it doesn't create full air pressure to seal around that squeeze out the remaining water. In a pinch, they're still a cleaner, safer option that will keep my child entertained while bathing, but he's also been disappointed in them at times. I think the lower position of the syringe hole can also help drain water more efficiently.
