I bought this to play, it runs Red Dead Redemption 2 perfectly and supports high settings. I recommend setting the processor's max status to 85% to avoid throttling or overheating issues and to extend the life of your processor. The speakers are decent and quite loud, and the weight and size are on par with any other laptop, meaning it doesn't stand out from other gaming laptops at all. If I don't play it, the fans are silent. But they are as noisy as any other laptop when gaming, unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it and it's not the sellers fault. The fan intake is on the bottom which would make the cooling pads more efficient but trust me they are not needed at 85% CPU. It was packaged well and arrived a day early, 100% recommended for anyone looking for a portable gaming machine or engineering students using AutoCAD or other software.
