Bought as a gift for a friend. In terms of looks, this is an aesthetically pleasing watch. Its feminine size and shape looks great on any small to medium sized wrist, and its slim but solid strap gives it a subtle yet sophisticated look. Personally, I found the dial difficult to discern due to its size, but my girlfriend didn't share that opinion. The hour markers were decently luminous, and I thought the screw-down crown and rotating bezel were nice touches, perhaps indicating the watch was solid. Here ends my praise. After two months of light wear, the watch literally fell apart. The strong link band was strong enough, but Invicta really ruined the bracelet by adding hollow, curved end links to each end. First, the end links began to loosen in their grooves where they connect to the body, and then they just fell out, unable to stay in place. For me this was a major annoyance, but the real obstacle was that the watch itself started to disintegrate from the inside. When setting the time, the crown and associated mechanisms inside the case simply detached from what was holding it in place and started rattling inside the case, with some small spacers and pins actually coming out of the hole in where the crown sits. . Surprisingly, the clock was still ticking, although it was about an hour slow every hour. We have sent the watch back to Revain for a full refund and I thank the seller for their understanding and cooperation. My disappointment relates solely to Invicta for their poor quality control standards. I say this because I've had an Invicta 9937 for over a year now, wear it almost every day - and I'm not as careful with mine as my girlfriend is with her - and it continues to work without a single problem. I know a lemon when I see one and I wouldn't be so blunt as to say that any watch like this will run into the same problems as we do, but I do advise anyone purchasing this particular model to make sure they have their favorite hours reads . Check the seller's return policy carefully in case they face similar issues.
