I've been wearing the Asics Gel Kayano 19 for the last few years until I saw the reviews of the new Gel 20. I think they live up to their claim: they fit great, are very cushioning to the foot and LOVE the color. ! When you put them on for the first time, they are very comfortable and do not pinch the balls of your feet. What's great about these Kayano 19 and 20 gels is that they're beautiful the moment you put them on without feeling like "I should have my period" - they're just so good from the start - it's pretty astonishing! The sock has plenty of room for my toes at the end of my run without pinching my toes or feeling too sloppy like other shoes I've tried before. My legs don't feel the least bit tired after 8 miles, my typical daily walk on mostly sidewalks. I can't say enough about these shoes! I can't imagine Asics improving these shoes but if they can improve them I will be the first to buy them!
