I did not purchase this product from Amazon for a number of reasons. One of these is available from many major retailers, mainly Bed Bath & Beyond, where one of their 20% off coupons will come in handy. However, I didn't buy it at the BBB either. I bought directly from Shark (another story together) for a number of reasons: 1. They offer a sort of "VIP" guarantee which I'm sure is not only worth the extra cost, but 2. Because they give you free vapor Mop. and 3. Because I got a few extra accessories that I could do without, but for only $350 I was able to get everything and I received my products in 3 days. Beautiful beautiful car with a beautiful color scheme. Excellent suction power even more than the new flagship Dyson Cinetic. I think 270 AW but real life performance is more than adequate. Thanks to the good brush pattern on the Power Head, my carpets have become noticeably fluffier and cleaner. Unmatched versatility and ease of use. This is the real selling point of the vacuum. Turning it into an elevator or canister vacuum is as easy as the commercials show it to be. The heavy duty head and stem can take pressure points and can lay really flat to get under most beds. The mini brush with MOTORIZED MOTORIZE is a great tool that I haven't seen from many manufacturers. Those beloved turbines that run on suction power can't compete with this tool. Extra movement and uncompromising suction power provide amazing cleaning power for upholstered furniture as well as scratching posts, small areas where the power head is too cumbersome like stairs etc. It is a fully closed system and the filters work releasing only HEPA clean air. (Warning below) Good bright LEDs on power supply and handle. As a result, it does an excellent job of cleaning carpets and hard floors, as well as other things where all the attachments come in handy. It is excellent at removing pet hair, dust and fine particles in the carpet. Just go at a gentle, slow pace, repeating each area. BadTad is on the heavy side. The Power Rush's bristles seem to be wearing down a bit and will come loose after a week of use, albeit fairly heavy use. I get mad when the shark doesn't offer back-up roles. Or at least a third party. The powerhead is on the narrower side, 10 inches or 11 inches I think, which is better for tighter spaces but takes longer in open carpet. Now that's really picky. It is best when configured vertically as the canister and motor add a lot to the weight of the machine which creates a better seal and pushes the brushroll deeper into the carpet. The best cleaning in my experience in this configuration. What they could do is redistribute the weight a bit so the wand and head don't look so dainty in canister mode. Also, the brushroll configuration really bites the carpet, and the thing spontaneously moves in a canister configuration, which ironically doesn't lend itself so well to a deep clean. The biggest and possibly most serious problem with this thing is that the internal cyclone technology just isn't up to par. . It separates progressively larger and lighter particles, but the fine dust is not separated by the cyclone and plunges straight through the primary screen onto the secondary foam cylinder filter. Now it's fine dust and most of it is caught by that filter and the rest by the felt pad and HEPA rack and pinion motor, but the fact remains that this machine will eventually start to lose suction much sooner than you think. The recommendation from sharks to wash the filters every 3 months is complete nonsense. You should dust the foam filter regularly after any noticeable vacuuming. Just use your hands outside and get dirty, just look where the wind is blowing and see how much fine dust you can smack out of this thing. You will probably need to wash at shorter intervals. If you don't do this, the vacuum will lose some suction power and your HEPA will wear out prematurely. Also, it doesn't work well with a lot of heavy particles, for example I picked up a pile of spilled cat litter and she sucked it up right away, but the litter ended up in the wrong part of the bin where the filter is. not in the meeting room. A minor issue, but a good demonstration of criticism of an underperforming cyclone. The cyclone technology in Cinetic is so good that fine particles never get into the filter, allowing Dyson to claim the filter is smaller. Bags are better, but who wants to pay for bags and it's cool to see how dirty your floors were. Last note. Low pile carpet mode has slightly less suction power than hard floor mode. Why? If you want to reduce suction, use the heavy pile setting. All in all, a very good cleaning machine at a price that no other manufacturer can match. You can pay twice as much for a Dyson and see no tangible benefit and lose functionality. You can pray three times more for Miele and see a small gain in cleaning but a loss in versatility. You can pay an exorbitant amount of money for a Kirby or Rainbow, Simplicity or Riccar and still not have the versatility that this car has. And if you vacuum well, gently, slowly, and repeatedly, you can clean almost as well with this shark. If you think this was helpful, please like or comment. I can also answer questions.
