Shure wireless transmitters only

Update: I've been using it for over a year. About 25 people have used it and it still works. Definitely worth my money and looks like I'll make a lot more out of it. I liked it so much that I bought a second one. Hard to beat at this price. ------ Original Review: First off, let me say that a lot of people with low reviews say this doesn't connect to their system. This mic connects ONLY to the "Shure" wireless transmitter. It has TA4F (4 pin mini connector). If you don't have a Shure system, don't buy it! And please don't give a bad review for not reading the information. Also, this microphone is designed to operate only with a wireless system powered by an active sound system (or phantom power system). If you don't have a good speaker system (like the Fender Passport) or sound system (like the Peavy PVI 6500), look elsewhere. This will NOT work on your small karaoke machine. Again, this is not the fault of the microphone. For the money this is an excellent buy. As long as you remember that you're buying a $20 headset mic that only fits in Shure kits and requires a real PA sound system, you'll be happy. And finally, a word of warning. This is an omnidirectional microphone, so you need to be aware of feedback. For it to work well, you need to start with a VERY LOW boost and slowly increase it. Not a compatriot, but definitely much, much better than me. hoped.
