I LOVE this pitcher. You can fill it up very quickly compared to gravity-filled jugs. The filters are easy to install. The product promises that the filter indicator will change color when it's time to change filters, but that never happened with the first Clear2o jug we had. I do not know why. We bought another one and now they are changing color. I gave our old one to my mother, and now I regret that they do not change its color. She was chief biologist and lab technician at a water filter purification plant for 15 years, and she taught me that if you change the filter when the water tastes bad, you're drinking worse water for a while than if you never filtered it in the first place . Shame they removed that pitcher. Now filters are becoming rarer and more expensive. I had to research diligently online and buy in bulk to get the filter price I was willing to pay. The best price I found was sold on ebay by a guy from Taiwan. I bought 30 to keep the shipping per unit down (which brought each filter to just over $7 including shipping) and to keep my mom and I fed for a couple of years. But man, man, it's a complete pain. However, we'll be very excited for deliveries in the years to come as no other jug I've tried compares to this in terms of the convenience of a quick tube refill coupled with great reviews from professional testers praising the quality of the filtration itself , is comparable. And our water tastes great. I bought the one my mom has now five years ago. So I'm not worried about the jars breaking before we run out of filters. It's well made and with few moving parts, not much can go wrong.
