Expensive but works great seems solid
Uses this on my boat trailer. The position of the plate should be low so as not to impede the loading of the boat. So it can easily scratch the floor on driveways and the like. This solution is perfect. The plate is protected and simply bends up to reveal the floor. The rubber is stiff enough to hold the panel in the correct position when not in need of flexing. Seems to be very durable. I expect this to last a long time.
