This is an oversized, weak and unprotected product. The picture doesn't give you an idea of how big this case is. It's literally twice the size of my original glass case. In this case, I could easily accommodate two pairs of glasses. When you close a case; If you apply additional pressure, one side will begin to shrink into the other shell. My original glasses case has both male and female edges so it snaps together when closed. These grenades simply get hit, deformed and shattered. If you need to protect glasses or sunglasses, don't trust this product. I have to agree with you, they used metal for the body. My magnet stuck a little to the case.
