I saw a group of people saying that non-original parts can make the robot noisier. I thought I could handle it, but now that I've tried it I've changed my mind. As long as it's on the carpet it's okay, but when it's on my hard floor it's loud as hell. I had to yell at him to speak to someone a few feet away while working in the same room. I think I've narrowed down the cause by replacing individual parts one at a time. Green rubber brushes - they drive him crazy. according to. I think the parts on it are longer than the original parts which make noise when rubbing together. It's okay that I can see if you start the robot when you're at home. But since I work from home. won't really work for me. Edge sweeping brushes - they didn't make the robot any louder or anything so I figured I'd keep those to myself. BUT I looked at the underside of my robot and found that after 10 minutes of use the area they sit on is already scratched. No one will see underneath, so who cares? I'm just not sure if this will affect the robot over time. I won't be buying a new one anytime soon. I compared it to the original part and found that the original parts are slightly curved to avoid scratching the robot while the non-original parts are straight. Filter - as far as I can tell, no difference. Most likely, in the future I will buy non-original filters. I've attached pictures of everything I talked about.
