I noticed that our filter "slowly" started to work after about 7 months. Oh, it's time for a change! I did this, and of course, after pressurizing the system, the water flowed out much faster, turning into a constant stream. At first glance I thought I had ordered the wrong one because of the protective cap. Once removed, it may make sense. The old filter removal tool is located on the top of the unit. Installation can be done by almost anyone and takes five minutes, a 10 minute flush and an hour of pressurization in our apartment building.
