I ordered a set of 32 invisible ink pens and UV black light secret spy pens (sold by Hamag, supplied by Revain) for the Valentine's Day gift sets. My son tried to write me a secret message but couldn't find what he wrote with UV light. This is because the ink has dried. I checked the few remaining pens and found that the ink on them was dry too. Before wrapping the gift bags, I tested each pen under UV light. Out of 35 pens, the light on 3 pens did not work so well. But as with any pen pack, I assumed there would be no problem with the ink. Next time I'll check both the light and the ink. I am ashamed to learn that we gave away "bad" pens as gifts that were meant to be unique, cool and fun for my son's entire class.
