This is such a fun toy to freak out a kitten or any cat really. as long as you dont have a timid cat who may be easily terrified and will harm her confidence, it can be lots of fun for both of y’all if the cat is friendly and more curious than they are easily spooked.The main things i don't like is the loud mechanical sounds and poor balance. It sounds like a locomotion and just causes unnecessary racquet for us. (The sound of his operation not the rawrs)If you have it walk fast it falls on its side. Always the same side which leads me to believe this is construction related. Carpet or hard floor proves it does not matter, This dinosaur seems to have had one too many and cannot pass a sobriety test.The swift speed he can travel at is pretty unexpected and surprised me a bit. He can zoom past as if he had taco bell forty minutes ago and desperately needs a toilet.The battery life was rather decent, i have no complaints there. The remote control is a cool looking bone or fossil and was a bot strange to operate the first few minutes. After practicing a bit with it, in just a few minutes i had it down pretty well. After that he was fairly easy to operate.The price of this i do feel is a bit steep considering the loudness of the way it operates, the low quality of his rawrs, and the fact that he seems to be under the influence, all seem to be a bit expensive when considering it as a whole for my expectations of what my dollar is worth.Before having the item in my hands, the price did seem to be fair for all it claims to offer. Once witnessed in action, I’m no longer sure the price is fair. I do think its not too far off. While i can live with it being loud when simply walking, his severe lack of balance when "walking " or slightly touching/bumping into something is what mainly annoys me.If this item seems to be the perfect gift idea or exactly what you were looking for, i feel its okay and I wouldn’t say "no”. i would likely say sure its a cool product, but just know he tips over a bit too much for my liking and probably for anyone who values the money they spend as well.
