I originally bought a spiralizer to use for making sweet potato spaghetti. First, it's difficult to find a sweet potato that's small enough in diameter to fit in a tool. Second, since the potatoes are peeled, they are a bit slippery. The "lid" that came with the spiralizer doesn't hold it in place so you can slide the potatoes through the blade (I used the larger of the two). So the product didn't do what I wanted, hence only 3 stars. However, I have used it with cucumber and zucchini with great success! That means I will definitely be making a lot of Zoodles. I haven't tried carrots, but since they have a similar firmness to potatoes, I have a feeling they won't work either.
