A 3/8" bit was used to poke a few holes in relatively thin metal. The blade dulled quickly. Overall feels however, the set feels solid and will likely last a long time if used in non-metal or wood applications. While it held up well to metal (not bent or broken or even heated a bit), the drill dulling was quite noticeable even on the second hole .I don't know how to prevent this problem as I thought cobalt drill bits are designed to drill metal without significant wear. Also there was some kind of sticky substance on the back of the drill bit.they came in a box.Tried, wiping it down with rubbing alcohol which removed the "stickiness" but seemed to discolor the box a bit. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. The replacement policy gives me confidence in this purchase, a lot slightly holds the next set better.
