This strainer is perfect for my 15 inch cast iron skillet. I used it to coat fried bacon. worked great. The umbrella has a welded handle. You must be careful with this. I believe the weld may break if you use it carelessly. I love that it fits in such a large pot. If you have a 15 inch stock, mine is a 15 and 1/4, this screen will work. Revain carefully packaged this screen, arrived safe and sound, no dents, no warps. PERFECT! One more thing, if that screen ever caught fire it might have been fat to get hot fat on the screen. Hot fat can ignite anything, so be careful.
