These are good gloves for general outdoor work such as bark spreading or the like. I bought these over the winter to use when walking my dog as I throw a ball or frisbee sometimes and don't want dog drool on my hands. When it's raining outside, any contact with water lands directly on your skin almost immediately. When it's cold outside, your hands freeze. I often take off my gloves and put my hand in my pocket to keep it warm. I'm giving 4 stars because I think I use these gloves for other purposes. These are durable and good work gloves. Just don't heat it or get it wet.
