Nice helmet, but not all that I hoped for
The Troxel Dakota is a really lightweight helmet that meets all safety standards. My main complaint is the interior and chin strap adjustments. It is nearly impossible to keep the chin strap tight enough. Just about any amount of pressure makes is slip looser, which makes the helmet less safe. The interior adjustment is a good idea, but the elastic is not very sturdy and also slips looser while you are wearing the helmet.
- Arrived quickly. Fit well. Sizing chart seems fairly accurate.
- The helmet may not fit properly over certain hairstyles
