Review on 📻 Sony ICF-F10: Portable AM/FM Two-Band Battery Transistor Radio by Nico Ramdeen

I don't often write reviews but this is an exceptional product. This is the BEST battery operated AM/FM radio I have ever owned. I live out of town and it gets all local stations crystal clear and even distant stations that I can't pick up on other radio stations. This works better than my car stereo when receiving long distance broadcasts. Size: The size is perfect, the radio is lightweight, using only two D-cell batteries, so perfect for traveling and hiking or camping. The sound from this is amazing for such a small radio. The speaker offers high fidelity and very good bass and treble. Ideal sound for music, classic, rock and talk radio. The speaker sounds clear from low to full volume. It's noisy! I can fill the whole house with pure sound. I can turn the radio up loud enough before distortion occurs. You can turn the volume knob to the 1 or 2 o'clock position before you have speaker distortion, but it's very loud. I usually keep the volume at 9 or 10 and it's loud enough. Sensitivity: AM tuner works very well for me. I can pick up stations anywhere in the Northeast at night. The tuner dial has a wide range of travel with delicate adjustments, making it very easy to tune into distant stations. It is fixed to stations and does not drift in frequency. FM sounds clear and I pick up all FM stations very easily, even distant FM stations that I can't even pick up on my car stereo. Appearance: I like the look and it reminds me of radios from the old days. I love the retro colors and style of this radio. Controls: The dials rotate easily and stay in place. Side switch works on/off, AM and FM. The buttons are a little wobbly, but feel solid and durable. It looks like this will continue for a while. Power Source: Runs on 2D batteries which should last longer than smaller AA cells. I use it often and am on the same first set of batteries. I've heard people get over 200 hours of playback with it, but battery life varies with volume. I highly recommend this radio. I have tried many portable radios in the past and this is the best I have ever used. At such a low price, you can't pass up this offer!
