Review on Bio Clean Drain Septic Bacteria 2 by David Alvarado

The test shows that it doesn't work

I carefully followed the instructions to clear a partially clogged kitchen drain. After 3 days of treatment the drainage started to deteriorate as I added water to flush out the clog. Because this product claims bacteria and enzymes absorb organic matter, I did a test. I placed 1 scoop of Bio Clean in a glass jar and added 2 cups of water, stirred until completely dissolved, then added 1 tsp lard, a small clump of hair, and less than 1 tbsp of cooked rice-noodle combo. I covered the pitcher and placed it where no one would disturb it. At the end of the first day (photo 1) there was no difference. The lard and hair floated in the solution at the top while the rice mixture settled at the bottom. Image 2 shows the results after four days. There is no sign of rotting lard, hair or rice. If I had bought this just to keep the plumbing clean I would have no chance of knowing if it would work until the tube was clogged. I am contacting the company for a refund and am happy to return a nearly full container. I can only imagine paid employees or family members writing rave reviews.

Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
