I needed a black evening bag for an upcoming wedding and I received it today. As far as looks go, it's very pretty and looks elegant. But, when you are the one carrying it, you can tell it's probable some type of stiff cardboard underneath the black fabric. That's fine with me because I'm probably just going to wear it once, so I don't need the top-of-the line quality just for those few hours. It seems durable enough to last as long as I will need it. The chain strap is a good option to have in case I want to wear it on my shoulder. If you are looking for a nice looking but cheap handbag to carry to one or two events, I recommend this bag. If you're looking for a good quality wardrobe staple evening bag that you'll use for several years and dozens of outings, I'd advise you to choose another bag made with better materials. But yes, for the price, I'm pleased.
