I have a scooter

I like working with children. We can ride bikes as a family, but so far we haven't been able to ride scooters together. We have a very long driveway and I occasionally rode one of their scooters up and down, but I was over the weight limit on my own so I didn't ride any further than our driveway. When I was looking for an adult scooter, I was looking for something that both me and my husband could ride. The first thing I had to do was make sure it could support its weight. The weight limit is 220 pounds, so we were fine. The next obstacle was the size of the deck (where you put your foot). He wears a size 13. This one has a deck size of 18.3 inches. Not much room to move, but it's comfortable for him. Another important point was the ability to adjust the steering wheel. I needed it to work for my size and his. There are 3 different levels to which you can adjust the handlebar height. I like that the scooter folds up for easy storage. It also comes with a strap for easy carrying. It's just a button you press to fold it. It took me a few tries to get it done in one smooth and quick motion. None of the attempts lasted longer than 20 seconds. The wheels are strong and durable. It has front and rear suspension for a smoother ride on different surfaces. We haven't left our yard/driveway yet, but it handles pretty well on grass and great on concrete. The foot operated rear brake is pretty easy to learn. As well as installing the stand, it will be ready to use when it arrives in the mail. The assembly of the stand took only a few minutes. I love that I can stand my scooter upright without leaning it against anything. This is another cool way to have fun with the whole family.
