Revainrating 5 out of 5

High quality emulator station

Neat PDA in the style of Gameboy colors. All of the face buttons have a nice feel, but the triggers feel a little twitchy and awkward. As in the original PSP, the second analogue on the right is sorely absent. Also, don't rely too much on the memory cards that come with the system, buy good quality cards to avoid memory corruption issues. Some of them are romhacks or mislabeled. You need to be tech savvy or good with computers to get the most out of this. There's a pretty big scene releasing custom firmware and updates for the device. The highlight of the device is that the screen looks amazing. If you grew up playing games from the 16-bit era, you'll appreciate how much life the screen brings to old pixel art. The hardware is powerful enough to run pretty much anything from the 32-bit era and below, but there are definitely some jokes and issues with some of the titles. PlayStation games work great, N64 not so much and Dreamcast/PSP needs to adjust expectations. Also, I couldn't dive into the DS footage for obvious reasons, but others have reported better results.
