This was very easy to install on a covered patio with outdoor speakers. I like the manual input selector compared to other models that automatically prioritize the input. The only real negative here was the speaker terminals - two of which kind of fell apart and the springs and red and black levers came loose in my hand, and one had its real contact pushed back into the block when the wires were inserted. It was easy enough to reassemble the clamps and springs and reattach the contact with no overall damage and only took 10 minutes to work around the project. The fact that the clamps are designed to make contact at all is surprising, but for my needs, which do not involve major audiophile worries on the terrace, it works. But the assembly issues were a little unexpected given the overall impression of solidity and scared enough to demote a star overall.
