Review on 4 Pack LUXRITE F32T8 T8 LED Tube Light 18W=32W 3500K 4000K 5000K 2340 Lumens Frosted Cover UL DLC Type A+B Single/Double End Powered Plug & Play/Ballast Bypass by Jaye Cleveland

I got these because they were advertised as working either in a ballast bypass scenario or as a direct replacement leaving the ballast in place.I have two remaining fluorescent fixtures in my barn (all the rest have been replaced with dedicated LED fixtures). Both are functional with fluorescent bulbs, but when I swapped these in they didn't power on at all. I've tried different orientations and multiple different bulbs - no luck at all.I assume if I bypass the ballasts then these will work, but haven't done so yet, and the whole point was to be able to avoid that .As other reviewers have noted, these are glass with a plastic coating. If dropped (and I did drop one) they will break but the thin plastic cover will hopefully hold everything together.
