Will not fit a 5 " thick mattress.
. They make a great 3 set and have great color/design options. Soft and thick enough - but unfortunately they don't quite fit our 5" mini crib mattress. They will, but you really need to stretch it and go up the sides (not in the sense that I'm worried about it becoming a hazard just because it looks less attractive and harder to put on). We ended up returning them and trying another brand in 6 inches so hopefully they fit better. However, they fit perfectly with our Pack n Play Hiccapop mattress and I think they would fit perfectly on a standard 3" mattress.
