the thing is actually very good for the price. We have a $110 version with multiple batteries and 110V cord power, but it died out at the worst possible moment (5 years). While waiting for the turntable cutter, we grabbed this one. First, we use it for easy cutting. It may only work with one or two layers, but during the making of masks we have 500 yards of spunbond that needs to be cut into 1 yard layers and rotor folded for pattern cutting. We need 36 inches as this is the widest print we can make. So. It's very manoeuvrable if you only own it for cutting tight turns. It was hard to give those three stars. Maybe I'm too strict with the product, it was cheap. Cutting is excellent and fast for single layer cutting. So if for some reason you have a lot of cuts but have arthritis or something like that, that would be great. It comes with a USB charging cable, you need to provide your own plug. and at least ours doesn't have a charge indicator to show that charging is complete, or an indicator of when charging is complete. and there is no way to replace the battery. but so far we've trimmed it down a bit with each charge and just leave it on usb overnight, hopefully we won't damage it. If you need scissors but can cut for medical or other reasons, this is actually a pretty good replacement that's easy to hold and cuts quickly. I'm just worried about the charging system and worried that we'll damage the battery or who knows what because there are no lights or indicators to show when the battery is low or fully charged. it was lucky that we didn't spend the whole day carving. 500 40 inch cuts with regular scissors can tire an elderly person and cause unwanted side effects, that was great. 5 stars if the charging system was better
