Ideal for children with orthopedic devices
It is much easier to put this zipper on a child with an orthosis that attaches to his/her leg. You can tie your laces and leave them for days/weeks without changing as the main closure is the zips. The only downside is that zippers are used so often that they can break. I took the shoes to my local shoemaker and he fixed them for $7, almost better than new. In general, I highly recommend it!
- Ideal for children who wear orthopedic insoles as they fit easily in the shoe.
- Not recommended for children with mobility issues
