Everything was fine for a month and a half, but suddenly it stopped working. Doesn't turn on at all. Has not been wet or damaged. He just stood on the counter, then I came home from work, walked the dog and nothing. Doesn't work even when I plug in the charger, so it's not just a dead battery. I've been buying this for many years. 2G from 2014 actually still works. The newer they are the faster they seem to die and I think I should have just picked a different brand when I saw all the certified refurbished ones on sale but foolishly paid more for a new one. Looks like this will be my last from Sandisk. Not because it failed so quickly, but because the warranty process was already proving to be a nuisance - Revain support gives me a phone number; A phone call leads me to a website where I can't find any details about the warranty claim. The chat on the site gives me a link to a generic email with no specific instructions as to what they want for the warranty. I assume I have to pay money to send it back to them with no guarantee that they will do anything to solve the problem. Matter. And since I'm not willing to give good money for bad money for a small purchase, I throw my money away. If I get a better result, I'll update this review accordingly.
